We have received some blogger reviews that we want to share!
*First Aid Shot Therapy has developed a line of convenient, FDA-compliant, single-dose liquid medications that help you relieve pain and upset stomach FAST – and they fit conveniently in your suitcase, carry-on bag or purse!
Now I’ll be right upfront and let you all know that I am pretty picky about my pain relief, and I am pretty set in my favorite. However, I’m always open to try new things, not just for myself, but for the Mr. as well.
Since he is into the liquid shot forms of products, I thought we could give the First Aid Shot Therapy products a try. He takes medicine for aches and pains like headaches more often than I do, and often takes them to work with him. One of his main complaints is that he can’t always get to a bottle of water to swig his pills down with, so having pain relief in a liquid form is great for him. I received samples of both the First Aid Shot Therapy Pain Relief and Upset Stomach Relief.
The Pain Relief contains an NSAID, which is the pain reliever, and also caffeine. I read some other reviews that shared some concern about the caffeine being in this, but it’s nothing new for me. One of the other medications I take often for my worst headaches contains way more caffeine than this shot contains. HOWEVER you should ALWAYS consult your physician before taking anything. I tend to prefer medications with a little caffeine but that’s because I understand how it works.
I also read a lot of people who stated that the taste was horrible. My opinion is that it was much better than I anticipated. Firstly, it’s a clear thin liquid that is berry flavored, and I actually didn’t find it that bad. It’s not my drink of choice you know and I might chase it down with a little water, but I would be okay if I couldn’t. I decided to try this out today when I had a little headache after working on a table. While it isn’t my typical go to, it did ease the headache nearly 100%. The caffeine didn’t cause me any jitters or anything, but I’m a coffee drinker, so I’m used to it.
The First Aid Shot Therapy for Upset Stomach is a combination of a couple of ingredients that are in many forms of antacids and other GI meds. If you’ve ever had a GI cocktail, the taste of this shot reminds me a lot of that. It is clear though, not green and not chalky, which is a plus. If you’ve ever had severe heartburn, indigestion, this combination really helps ease the discomfort. I haven’t tried this for heartburn just yet, as I haven’t needed it, but I plan on trying it next time I have a little indigestion.
Overall, both of these products are okay. They have minimal ingredients and the taste isn’t too bad. They are super convenient as well, which is a plus for me. I’ll probably store one of each of these in my vehicle for ailments on the road.
I also suffer from a constant sour stomach and I hate the taste of those chalky tablets you chew up. I was very anxious to try this shot out. I really liked the taste of this – it tastes like peppermint, ginger and a little bit of chocolate. It has a very smooth taste with no after taste. The carbonate, CO3, neutralizes the stomach acid that is causing upset and pain by reacting with the acid ions (H+) to produce water (H2O) and carbon dioxide (CO2). I did get relief very quickly with this product and I definitely recommend it.
